I didn't test anything so far, but all those things sound very nice ! (although I don't like at all mortal traps at stairs, I just find it pure perversity).
About difficulty vs level requirements, there are 2 different (and nevertheless linked) problems : - the really intended difficulty. - the written level requirement. It's pretty clear that the link between both is wrongly settled. But now the true questions are : - do we want to keep such difficulty ? (Fix : change level requirement, for example, a lvl 200 dg would be 400 in hard mode and 600 in hardcore mob) - or do we want to keep requirement (Fix : make things less difficult). Various people asked so much about new contents for high levels, I wouldn't see why now they would ask for less difficulty. The new update feels nice.
I do believe that the new quest is very simple. From the moment we started the Npc dialog to the reward chest, took us 45 minutes. The path is dangerous bc of its "traps", but if you take easy and stays focused, it is doable. We made it two times in Elysium; 1st: level 870 barbarian (died at the path "trap"), level 850 pyromancer, level 949 barbarian. > level 949 barb and 850 pyro made 85% of the quest. 2nd: level 870 barbarian, level 698 warlock. ( no deaths ) These 2 quest completion datas show that the quest is simple and very doable. Yes it is challenging, and funny to do. About the reward: As mentioned by Wyhual Apelao, the reward items has no base status. About the Vanguard creatures: Strength: feels like 15% more powerfull than templar in overall. Loot: almost same as templars. Hunting area: too small, we broke the HC area with 3 players. |

Is there the possibility of placing the quiver just to put arrows inside? It would be something very easy like a fish bag, I believe it would be VERY GOOD

Why not make quivers as dynamic item thats needed to be equipped with a bow to be able to attack. Just ditch the arrows completely and make different "type" of arrows to be attached to the weapon.

Congratulations, I really liked the increase in difficulty of the dungeons, it was very good. There is the possibility of doing something similar to the hardcore portals, increasing the difficulty like the dungeons, I think it would be very good. Good job.

It's mainly a problem of data heavyness, as it's simply possible to duplicate each HC in 3 versions (although probably 2 would be enough ).
Alternatively, we could have UHC caves (Ultra Hard Core) with buffed monsters (far better idea than insane amount of normal monsters) accessible from normal HC (with clear warning ). Bestiary access requirement : 25000 kills of each (normal version of) monsters. |
