I remember that in Novus there was a nerf to party, after that it wasn't worth hunting in a group anymore +1, Party exp Boost is a thing that has to be increased LONG TIME AGO already. Mostly players don't want to group for any of the hunts, cause solo they get better results. That is causing majority to isolate themselves. Mmorpgs from the definition are made for interacting with other players. your answer was perfect +1 |

When you guys have some time. I suggest running test server, to test party buff on different stages. Im more than sure we can count for Askja in this matter and receive professional opinion. |

im all up for a party hunt inprovemend, although boosting party exp significantly or getting experience "off-screen" is probably not the way to go.
Like Askja said, along some others, it's an balancing issue. That is what needs work FIRST before you can work on party experience. |

Like Askja said, along some others, it's an balancing issue. That is what needs work FIRST before you can work on party experience. Should improve some exp boost for each diff class in the pt, ex: 10% + for each another diff subclass on party, Should gain exp who is off screen (20s cooldown), if someone leave of the screen will gain exp for 20s, after that should apper in the screen (range about 6sqm or something else), and other thing is to gain experience (to keep sharring), you need to hit a creature in last one minute, and the exp should sharrer full equal in party members, but, need 2/3 of the hight lvl of the pt to keep sharring experience. something like this. |

24 days 12 hours ago Quoting Askja: It's a class balance issue, not a party issue. When a paladin is ruining shooter experience, nobody is hunting in party with paladin. Simple like that (high level players issue on permanent servers). First reach good class balance. The huge problem here is that class differenciation is *only* thought under the prism of damage/resistance. In my opinion, working on *gameplay* would be the key to obtain very different classes, yet with not so high difference in exp/h. But it would require smart and long work, and alas, most proposal we see are just asking everybody having same kind of spells Only thing I agree with : once balance is reached, probably adjust party bonus. About sharing party exp in equal parts and gaining offscreen exp, no way. Too high risk of abusing, period. I completely agree with this perspective. Class balance is crucial, and focusing solely on damage and resistance often leads to monotonous gameplay where classes feel too similar, ultimately reducing the purpose and fun of them. The core issue is that most balancing seems to neglect the diversity in gameplay, which is what could truly distinguish classes without overinflating experience rates or making another subclass feels irrelevant. Instead of pushing for homogenized spellkits, a more nuanced approach that encourages unique, yet balanced, playstyles could be the answer. It’s about crafting an experience where each class feels distinct, fun to play, and doesn’t unbalance the party dynamic. This would take thoughtful development and more innovation, but it would be much more rewarding in the long run. |

So, tell me, how do you hunt HC without gaining XP off-screen? You end up going off-screen... I'm not talking about gaining XP 30 SQM away from the screen, I'm aiming for about 5–10 SQM
80% of Ely players are solo players, mostly warriors playing alone. You don’t have much experience to talk about this topic. We on Pharos have been hunting in parties for years... but recently, we stopped because it was terrible I think both ways should be tested to reach a good conclusion |
