Ranger > Bard
The idea behind it is a new subclass focused on support also versatile to level up. A new subclass option can update the role of rangers in game allowing old or abandoned characters to experience new challenges. My proposal to a Bard is to be a subclass more defensive maybe close to warriors in terms of stay near the monsters to provide buffs to his allies/party by having a good survivability but certainly using ranged weapons and ranged attack spells too. Bards are well known by their musicaly features so I think it can be incorporated into their spells. Not just to name the spells, but mainly to add something special and fun elements to playing with this subclass. Furthermore, to complete the subclass quest a satyr's lute could be necessary! Spells: - Mortal Melody - Consider to replace Shaman's mortal melody for another 'poison attack spell' cast by the boss Ementku (image below) and add Mortal Melody to Bard's list of spells. Cooldown 2 seconds. - Stinking Cloud - Deals damage on 4 sqm in all directions centered on the target. Cooldown 5 seconds. - Smashing Mandolin - It throws a mandolin and deals a great damage to the target and 20% less damage on all sqm around the target. Cooldown 8 seconds and 2 seconds of casting time. - Lost Song of the Fairies - It deals damage 5 sqm in all directions centered on the spell caster paralyzing the hit targets for only 1 second. Cooldown 30 seconds. - Majestic Symphony - primary buff for magic level 11 - Enables one or more ricochets when attacking. It also increases movement speed by 10% and dodge by 7%. It has a cooldown of 115 seconds. - Foresight - secondary buff for magic level 9 - Bard becomes invulnerable to magical attacks for 8 seconds. (only physical/auto attacks can hit the player). It has a cooldown of 3 minutes. - Awaken - A music spell that increases movement speed of monsters by 25% on a huge area (entire screen). Cooldown 10 seconds. - Detect Thoughts - A spell that cancels the invisibility of players walking around the caster (area 5x5 sqm). Cooldown 30 seconds. - Drowse - A spell cast in a song which reduces the target's dodge by 20% for 15 seconds. Cooldown 20 minutes. - Enthrall - Reduces the magic damage of a target by 10% for 60 seconds. Cooldown 60 minutes. - Fake Death - Instant spell. The bard's appearance become similar to a dead man's body for 1 second recovering health back to 100%. It may only be used when the caster has less than 33% of health. It works even in battles against monsters and players. Cooldown 300 seconds. Party Spells: - Heroism support - helps a Paladin to cast a divine spell that deal a huge damage in a large area which damage is based on Paladin's level. It requires a Paladin to cast Heroism. Cooldown 3 minutes. - Disguise - makes the entire party invulnerable to magical attacks for 15 seconds (only physical/auto attacks can deal damage). It requires Disguise support to be cast by a Shaman. Cooldown 5 minutes. Special Talents: - Dream of Fame - Increases 25% the damage of Mortal Melody. - Mind Blank - Stinking Cloud inflicts 50% additional damage to targets hit every 2 seconds for 2 times. Extra +5 / 15 Talent Points: Durability and Dodge |

You are far smarter than me. Really nice POV; Make it really clear and maybe this drives into discussed about Bard itself. Its a great possibility for even more balancing the game. But my knowledge about the numbers and experience of the game are low. But i just would say that this amazes me and i hope the staff get a look into it. Thanks Hellsinner |
