Proposals, for balancing vocations:
Paladin x Barbarian Paladin in first place is very usefull and easy to play in new servers, and barbarians has a hard work in the begin of life. So , in the end , in some month barbarian become a monster grinder and paladin become almost useless. To balance those 2 vocations: Cleave: Cleave hit 25% in the back while Rage of Fury do a great damage compare to cleave on the back Fix: Cleave hit 75% of the total damage in the back. Weapons: Two-handed weapon is the great thing of barbarian due the amount of damage is too high. So , create two-handaded weapon with 25% less atack than barbarian two-handaded weapon to paladins. The stats and atribute of those weapons is increassing defending , and the barbarian the damage. RANGERS: We have a problem with marksman and rougue, and we have a lot of suggestion on forum already. But to look at this point. Make ranger acessibility to buy arrows that hit AoE damage possibility to hit a full boxy creatures on you (maybe big like hellish), but hit 50% or less of the total hit. Create a quest with high lvl content that you have acess to buy those arrows from npc, and need lvl 400+ to use those arrows. Also, like said in another topic, look above. Ranger Proposals: • Add 20% attack to all bows (Longbow from 22 -> 26.4 attack) • Add a small amount of natural magic resistance. • Add armor penetration on arrows (Tier 1 = 25%, Tier 2 = 50%, Tier 3 = 75%) • Make ricochet hit an extra 3 attacks for 75% each (PVE only) (Only 2 extra on single target) Marksman: • Add 4-6% Dodge to their buff • Add a new spell called "Rapid Fire" it will hit 3x over 0.9 seconds hitting for 66% damage per hit, with a 2 second cast time and a 5 second cooldown. (This could hit Physical damage with a armor pen percentage on it) • Add a new spell called "Survival Instincts" which has a 35 second cooldown and increases your Dodge by 50% for 5 seconds. • Change Piercing shot to a AOE 3x3 and 3 second cooldown, the 300 talent will be changed to add 1sqm at all edges (Or make the same size as the old hellish). • Make arrow volley hit 3x3 and slow all for 60% within it, it should get it's cooldown raised from 5 -> 10 seconds. Rogue: • Make Traps lasts 16 seconds with a 16 second cooldown. • Make the 300 talent only increase size and NOT reduce damage. • Make your barbed arrow hit the initial damage in PVP. • Remove Spread Shot from Marksman and give it to Rogues About this, probably we can bring back the paladins to top (today only barb on top lvls) Also, rangers become decent exp/damage in AoE hunts. ABOUT PRE SET: Make a hotkey to change your entire set when click, this give more ways to pvp, loot, exp set, speed set, and in a emergency u can change it. Edit: Open a test server for some days to test those things. We dont have a super power class, ranger, paladin or other things, We just want a balacing, and become all classes avaliable to play in a long term. |

Good proposal.
Concerning to Paladins, for me playing as a paladin, I believe our damage issue is relevant for sure. Instead 2-handed weapons for paladins I would suggest a few ideas to solve this: • Increase the back damage of Cleave to 66% compared to the side and front damage • Bring back Desolation, keeping the same old area of a cross around the Paladin and magic level 11 required to cast, but with a new cooldown of between 4 and 5 seconds • Remove Holy Sword |

Believe me, I perfectly understand the needs in buffing paladins damage But once again, your proposal tends to uniformization of both classes, and I firmly disagree with that point of view. Sure more back cleave would be the simplest and a very welcome fix. Don't misread, I would be happy to have it in a first and fast move. But almost same spell as barbarians, we can have better ideas for sure (see below). About weapon, I don't catch your point at all. Basically, you just make paladin a worst barbarian (no shield, lower damage), do you really think it will make paladin desirable *over* barbarian ? IMO, not at all. Besides, my auto-attack represents roughly 10% of my dps (edit : calculation based on average wall walk fight, 5 monsters). Increasing it, let's say by 20%, would raise my dps by a wonderful 2% ... I admit it would be interesting enough for figthing bosses for example, but it wouldn't solve any exp/h issue. Instead : - make "dynamic cleave" to create a real differenciation between spells and a different gameplay. See here, where by the way you have everything to fix paladins (I'm just waiting staff to realize it ) - make best 1h weapons and best shields only usable by paladins, and *give them special abilities* to create more differenciation between classes (and also help paladins with bosses, current situation is ridiculous, I had to wait level 700ish to be able to solo Diroth ... 6-7 mn to kill) Quick examples : - on weapon, 20% chance to double hit (average buff : 20%, effect on exp/h : roughly 2%, very useful for bosses, not really for exp) - on weapon, 20% chance to neglect Ph armor (pve only) - on shield, add mana drain resistance - on shield, add ability to stunt mobs too (using Shield Slam), stunted mobs wouldn't do anything for a few seconds, in particular wouldn't heal (very desirable in party boss hunt) I'm sure we can find many other ideas. IMO, together with reasonable spell damage buff, class differenciation is only way to make paladin desirable again vs barbarian |

The damage from advanced soulcore should not cap. Also, the damage of AoE spell of ranger should be new spells based on skill*damage , that Rangers could swap with hellish. 2s. Edit: OPEN TEST SERVER, LETS US TEST. |

Im not a paladin player, but i think paladin needs to be a better solo match and barbarian needs a defense nerf at mid/high end game.
To buff paladin, i'd rather they raise area of effect alot (like hailstorm area) and make the cooldown lower. It would benefit paladins a little to hunt with box. Raise the damage clave back damage from 20~25% to 50~65%. And benefits from party hunt should be better to make paladin hunts more attractive. |
