Hello everyone, I am writing this in hopes that it will reach Zezenia Staff and/or the right audience, perhaps a CM or GM.
Before you read this, please know that I love this game very much and plan on playing indefinitely. Please consider the following, this game has less than 100 people on a good day. Let that sink in. We just want to have fun, not a game breaking amount of fun, just a little MORE fun, not all of us have 20 hours a day to play a game 7 days a week. I have some things about this game I would like to point out, and some suggestions to make. I have a rich history with this game and many like it, and am very, very experienced with them. I would like to talk about 5 major points, and one minor point in the game: 1.) Tasks. 2.) Skills & Spells. 3.) Monsters. 4.) Quests & Achievements. 5.) Items (Gear, Potions, & more.) 1m.) Pets & Outfits ($%$ :::Honorable Mention; PVP & WIKI::: $%$) I think that with a bit of tweaks here and there this game would be a lot more FUN for the few people the play, first off I would like to address the issues with tasks. A few major concerns with them; ~#*TASKS*#~ A.) A random tasks should have a chance to give you something even harder than a HARD task with a 50% reward increase. They could be called HARDCORE TASKS. B.) They do not give NEAR enough task points. C.) The rewards for turning them in are not worth the time it takes to walk and turn them in, we should be given a MUCH larger experience and even greater gold reward. KILL tasks should be exp only, and COLLECT tasks should gold only. D.) The option for TRAINING as a reward needs to be brought back exactly like it was. E.) This is kind of a grey area between, Monsters / Tasks, but collect quests are bonkers and take way too long to complete at some spawns, increase the drop rate of monster parts, and decrease the amount of parts needed to complete the tasks. I am kinda re-iterating point C.) with this, but again on the collect tasks, the amount of gold you get should be higher than they would sell to an NPC. The grand tasker is a perfect example of wayyyyyyyy too much. ~#*SKILLS*#~ The Website at its core needs to be updated as well, https://www.playzezenia.com/library/manual/Gameplay/20-challenge-tasks shows that Training is still a reward for tasks, which it should be still even though it is not. Skills to need raise much faster while hunting and training. Again, not everyone wants to play for a year just to be able to access the games content. I would rather things be behind a tiny paywall rather than a mountain of a timewall. Fishing should be able to be done as long as you have bait for it, I don't want to have to reclick every 1-3 minutes if maybe I just wanna get up and go do the dishes or something, and I really dont think its going to destroy the game if people want to fish there brains out. ~#*MONSTERS*#~ Monsters need to seriously chill out. I would like to be able to explore without getting blown to smithereens for looking down a ladder. The Magic Damage on any enemy is absolutely obscene, and needs to be revised. Also none of the WIKI information reflects the monster damage or defense accurately. Also, MANY of the spawns need to be beefed up and the land around them revised. Getting to things like Slitherers are really annoying, and things like Bush Terrors there is just not enough of, I think the Orknie Rider spawn should be opened up more, and have denser spawns the deeper you go. ~#*QUESTS & ACHIEVEMENTS*#~ Many of the quests take much longer than they should, a perfect example being the 25% magic damage buff quest, I understand that is a very large boost, but the time it takes to complete the tasks need to be greatly reduced. Achievement points need to be easier to obtain as well, perhaps through daily quests or dungeons. ~#*ITEMS*#~ The stat boosts on items such as Melee+, Magic Lvl+, Exp%+, Gold%+, and so forth need to be greatly boosted, the base should be at least 5% so it feels like something significant. The enchanting system ratios need to be juiced up just a little, maybe 12-15% chance instead of 6.66%. Potion prices need to be greatly reduced so free account players can hunt easier. Yes I know there is a quest to reduce the price of them but it needs to be reduced even further. Another severe issue is the Flasks in game, defense, luck, haste, magic defense, life steal, experience, all need to be majorly enhanced. |'}-&&& Pets & Outfits &&&-{'| Premium outfits that you pay money for should give you a vast increase in movement speed, 10-12% static boost would probably work well, as well as outfits you unlock in the game, but premium should always give you the max. Pets should level up from eating fish regardless of whether or not you are hunting. ( PVP & WIKI ) PvP should be completely optional on any world with the click of a button. Sometimes people just want to hunt things in peace. The Zezenia Wiki needs to be updated, I have no idea whether or not that is related to Zezenia Staff or what, but its extremely outdated. So I ask for everyones opinion on this as well, and thank you for taking the time to read it. Also, I do not think this game needs any NEW content at the moment but rather attention and care to the content that exists. |

Also, I do not think this game needs any NEW content at the moment but rather attention and care to the content that exists. Tasks Hardcore Tasks: The idea of Hardcore Tasks is solid, adding a tier of challenge and reward for those seeking it. However, it’s essential to balance these tasks so they’re challenging yet not frustrating. Consider incorporating dynamic difficulty adjustments based on player progress. Task Points & Rewards: Increasing task points and enhancing rewards, both in experience and gold, is a smart move. Make tasks more meaningful and integrated into daily play, similar to how daily quests in games like "World of Warcraft" keep players engaged. Training Rewards: Reintroducing training as a reward is crucial. Games like "Runescape" offer skill advancement as part of their quest rewards, making them more appealing. Training rewards can create a more balanced progression system. Skills & Spells Website Update: Ensuring up-to-date and accurate game information is non-negotiable. The player’s trust hinges on reliable information. Look at "EVE Online" for an example of how a well-maintained wiki can support a complex game. Skill Progression: Faster skill gains, especially for casual players, are essential. Consider a model like "Elder Scrolls Online," where skill advancement scales with player engagement, offering both casual and hardcore players a satisfying experience. Fishing Mechanic: Removing the need for constant clicking during fishing is a great QoL improvement. Automating repetitive tasks helps retain players who might otherwise get frustrated and leave. Monsters Monster Difficulty: Scaling back the excessive damage from monsters would make exploration less daunting and more inviting. Adaptive AI, similar to the “Nemesis System” in "Shadow of Mordor," could add depth without overwhelming players. Accurate Wiki: Ensuring monster stats and spawn information are correct and accessible is crucial. "Monster Hunter" games do an excellent job of providing detailed in-game monster guides. Spawn Density: Adjusting spawn density can dramatically improve player experience. Look at "Diablo III," where monster density adjustments greatly enhanced gameplay fluidity and satisfaction. Quests & Achievements Quest Length: Balancing quest length with reward is vital. Overly lengthy quests can dissuade players. Games like "The Witcher 3" strike a balance, offering shorter, impactful quests alongside longer story arcs. Achievement Points: Making achievement points more accessible through dailies or dungeons, as seen in "Guild Wars 2," keeps players motivated and engaged. Items Stat Boosts: Meaningful boosts on items (5%+) are a must. In "Path of Exile," items with noticeable stats make a tangible difference in gameplay, driving the loot chase. Enchanting System: Increasing success rates for the enchanting system to around 12-15% would alleviate frustration and incentivize players to engage with the system more. Compare this to games like "Black Desert Online," where enchanting can be a point of player retention or frustration. Potion Prices: Drastically reducing potion prices for free account players will level the playing field and make hunting more accessible. Consider "Ragnarok Online," where affordable consumables help maintain a balanced player economy. Pets & Outfits Premium Outfits: Adding a significant movement speed boost (10-12%) to premium outfits would make them highly desirable. "Fortnite" successfully leverages cosmetics with minor gameplay perks to boost player investment. Pets: Allowing pets to level up through passive activities like eating fish aligns well with systems in games like "Pokemon" where consistent but gradual growth is encouraged. PvP & Wiki PvP Toggle: An optional PvP toggle on any server, akin to "World of Warcraft’s" War Mode, would cater to both PvE enthusiasts and PvP players, ensuring everyone can enjoy the game on their terms. Updated Wiki: A consistently updated wiki, similar to that of "Warframe," is essential. Reliable information fosters a knowledgeable and engaged player community. General Opinion Your suggestions are well-thought-out and, if implemented, would significantly enhance the player experience. By adopting lessons from other successful games and integrating them into Zezenia, the game can evolve to meet modern player expectations while retaining its unique charm. |

I think tasks used to make sense, but not today.
Training with task should return alongside training on dummys. |

I could agree with the task training reward.
Most of the "problems" you are mentioning are just low lvl struggles and should be this way! Thats why its fun to level up and actually get some progress in both lvls, achievments and bonuses on the eq. |
