Sure, I'll enlighten you with a rough idea. I completed this quest last Friday from 1.35 pm to 10.59 pm using the Poseidon rod at fishing lvl 91. If you value your sanity, please think twice before sitting through these hours. Grab a snack or Netflix 'n Chill. Just be prepared to keep yourself busy should you decide to sit there in a single day like I had the thrill of doing-

Regarding the time, I caught a Geltharian randomly every hour. So buckle up. You're in for quite the immersion. As for what kind of bait to use, it doesn't matter; this made no difference whatsoever imho.
